We’re No Gentlemen is an emo/alt-rock band based in Southern California, known for blending emotional intensity with driving riffs and powerful melodic hooks. Originally founded by drummer Vince Gudino, the band solidified its identity when lead vocalist Amanda Gabel joined shortly afterward. Their early entrance into the Los Angeles music scene quickly drew attention, fueled by their high-energy performances and a passionate, steadily growing fan base.
The band’s debut EP and accompanying music videos expanded their reach beyond the local scene, earning international visibility among emo and hard-rock listeners. In 2019, We’re No Gentlemen signed a distribution deal with Blast Stage Records and welcomed Danny Knapp as their bass guitarist, adding a new dimension to the band’s sound with his rhythmic precision and dynamic low-end presence.
Following their third EP, “Heartbeat/Heartbreak,” and their contribution of a cover version of New Found Glory’s “Vicious Love” to Pacific Ridge Records’ Tribute to New Found Glory compilation, the band continued to evolve creatively and sonically.
In 2025, We’re No Gentlemen released two new singles—“Beautifully Broken” and “Suffocating”—through Blast Stage Records, marking a fresh chapter in their catalog and showcasing the band’s most polished and emotionally charged material to date.
