Gear, Amps & Tone
A lot of tone problems aren’t really tone problems. They’re signal chain issues, gear mismatches, or simply too many settings without a clear starting point. Lessons can work directly with your actual setup, over video call or in person. This section carries over the hands-on bass rig consulting that was previously its own service: amp and Kemper Profiler configuration, tone shaping, signal routing and troubleshooting, gear selection advice, and click-track/IEM integration. The goal is a configuration that holds up on stage and in the studio alike, from an officially endorsed bass artist.
Common topics include:
- Impedance matching between instrument and preamp
- Structuring an effective effects loop
- Setting up in-ear monitor mixes for live shows
- Choosing between modeling platforms and traditional amp-and-cab setups
