We’re No Gentlemen – Suffocating

“Suffocating” follows a relationship pushed past its limit: the turn from heartbreak into resentment, and the resolve to let go. Danny Knapp plays bass guitar on the track and in the official music video, which premiered October 15, 2026. He co-wrote the music with We’re No Gentlemen.

About the video

The video was shot in Santiago Canyon and at historic Cook’s Corner. Santiago Canyon Road winds through the Santa Ana Mountain foothills, one of the last stretches of rural country in the area, and Cook’s Corner sits where Santiago Canyon, El Toro and Live Oak Canyon roads meet. The building dates to 1884 and has served as a restaurant and a roadhouse. Since 1975 it has been a gathering place for motorcycle clubs. The band produced the video, with the story developed together with director Andrew Edward. It is hosted on the We’re No Gentlemen YouTube channel.
