Danny has been unable to attend the Last Call Jam in Tarzana, CA for several months due to his heavy gigging schedule. However, he recently attended and performed at the jam for ‘Glam Metal Night’, and it was indeed glamorous. Danny enjoyed the reunion with so many talented and kind friends and peers, and he stated, “The vibe there is always so supportive and fun, and the performances were off the chain! I’m always comfortable in a room full of weirdos.”.
Getting started on a fun new project with all these fine peeps. This band is going to focus on dance music from the 70s-Now, from Donna Summer to Dua Lipa. Can’t wait to share more 🤘😎
ThrowbackThursday BTS – Soundcheck at the Troub with Katie Garfield five years back (the place looks a little different when the lights are on during the daytime). As it turned out, this ended up being our last gig together, but we had some great experiences as a band-fam. We all still keep in touch from time to time via social media. Everyone is still active in the music industry and doing some really cool stuff. Check ’em out.
throwbackthursday – Goofing around at a promotional event with my Katy Perry tribute band-mate, Katrina. The guitarist and I do the “left-shark, right-shark” thing when we play California Gurls — suffice it to say, it’s actually pretty difficult to play and sing while wearing a furry shark head, but the audience loves it. 🤪

It’s crazy to think of how many stories and fond memories you can recall just from the stickers, dents, and scratches you find on your travel cases.
If only these bass guitar cases could talk! I originally just started with my name and a few stickers on each case so that I could recognize my gear when it’s dark backstage and at the airport, and so that crew and other musicians don’t accidentally pack the wrong gear in their trucks (no one can mistake my ugly cases).
Over time, the stickers get ripped off due to use and abuse, so I just add more stickers over the top of the old ones. Besides, it gives me somewhere to put all those cool decals you get when traveling and when you buy new gear.
I’m looking forward to later this year when we can all get back out there and do some road gigs and fly-in gigs so I can collect some more stickers. 😉
Raising my glass in thanks to all my band-fam and friends for all their help and support in surviving 2020. Looking forward to all that the new year holds.

throwbackthursday – I miss traveling all over SoCal in order to work with @dionjackson. I’ve had such a blast performing live, interactive music/fitness routines with him at events far and wide. I cherish these experiences. His friendship and mentoring in all matters has helped me make big strides in my career and life in general. Much thanks, D!
