This photo got me thinking about CDs and physical media in general.
– I have some rare(ish) CDs that you just can’t find online. For example, :[dos]:, the album by Altered State, an amazing band from right here in Huntington Beach.
– Vinyl is making a serious comeback, not just for nostalgia or the audio characteristics, but as a tangible memento that acknowledges the artist’s achievement — the artwork, the liner notes, and all that cool stuff.

Anyone else have any interesting physical media laying around that you’ve kept around because they are rare or the artist’s catalog isn’t available for streaming?

Anyone getting back into vinyl, especially for new releases?

As it turned out, this ended up being our last gig together, but we had some great experiences as a band-fam. We all still keep in touch from time to time via social media. In this video, I am using an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 5 HH bass with an custom Alperious pickguard, Kemper Profiler amp, Source Audio pedals, and Ernie Ball strings.
