Danny Knapp was recently featured in the The Orange Blossoms Sessions, an upcoming musical collective based in Orange County, CA. This ensemble project features a rotating lineup of accomplished musicians curated by producers Geoff Davis and Alexandra Jack.Their debut single, “All That You Dream,” originally by Little Feat and beautifully interpreted by the legendary Linda Ronstadt, exemplifies their ability to blend classic rock with contemporary innovation. The song is now streaming on all platforms and showcased in their music video on YouTube.

Bass guitarist Danny Knapp embarked on an exciting journey, spending a captivating day immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of a live video shoot with the immensely talented singer/songwriter Bryn Ryan and her band. As part of this collaborative endeavor, Knapp’s rhythmic prowess on the bass guitar served as a cornerstone, intertwining seamlessly with Ryan’s evocative vocals and the musical prowess of her bandmates. The synergy of the ensemble added a rich layer to the live performance, enhancing the visual and auditory experience captured on camera. Their collective artistry brought depth and energy to the shoot, showcasing a day filled with creativity, passion, and the magic of collaborative music-making.

We’re No Gentlemen made a triumphant return to Valor Studios to collaborate once again with the acclaimed producer Dan Parker for the recording of their latest musical offerings. With the powerful combination of Amanda Gabel’s emotive vocals, Alex Messano’s intricate guitar work, Danny Knapp’s skillful bass guitar playing, and Vince Gudino’s dynamic drumming, the band is set to create a sonic masterpiece under Parker’s guidance. The chemistry among the band members, highlighted by Knapp’s rhythmic foundation, Gabel’s soulful delivery, Messano’s electrifying guitar riffs, and Gudino’s precision on drums, promises an exciting and emotionally charged musical journey. Fans can anticipate a fresh wave of We’re No Gentlemen’s signature sound as they once again join forces with Dan Parker at Valor Studios to craft their latest musical chapter.

Last Sunday, Danny joined Kitty Antix and her crew for the first of two full days of shooting the music video for her new song, “Forget Me” to be released later this fall.

While bass guitar has always been one of Danny’s biggest passions, he is never one to pass on the opportunity to sing. Danny has been singing lead vocals at several known jam nights in the L.A. area in the past few years. Most recently, he performed a couple of U2 songs at ‘Gaslamp Live’ in Long Beach, CA.

Psychedelic Furs tribute Pretty In Pink delivered an unforgettable set of music in front of a sold out crowd at Club 80s in Corona on Saturday afternoon. The audience seemed to make it day to remember for the band as well. Bass guitarist Danny Knapp said, “Sometimes you get to a venue and you just know it’s going to be a special show — one for the books — That’s what I felt today”.

The show was hosted by Richard Blade (DJ for Sirius XM’s First Wave). He opened the show with a DJ set, and then introduced Pretty In Pink, followed by a blazing performance from Devotional – The Depeche Mode Experience.

Danny and all the members of the Psychedelic Furs tribute “Pretty in Pink” sent out a special thank you to Richard Blade (Sirius XM’s First Wave DJ) for his shout-out about the upcoming show at Club 80s in Corona, Ca alongside “Devotional – the Depeche Mode Experience”.

Danny was proud to perform at the first show with one of the newest projects he is involved in, “Show Me The 90s”. This new era-based tribute band plays alt-rock, pop, and hip hop from the 90s. The band includes Jesse Wilder (of The Goodwin Club, touring member of The Specials), drummer Lindsey Martin (touring member of Lilith Czar), and Candace Alayne (director of The Black Veils)
