Check out our new bts video with our producer, ‘E’ during the recording session for the @werenogentlemen cover version of “Vicious Love”, the New Found Glory song featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore. Our new will be released on the upcoming NFG compilation from Pacific Ridge Records.

Plotting and planning with our producer “E” during the last @WereNoGentlemen recording session. For every minute we spend recording or playing live, we’ve spent hours in preparation, planning, and rehearsal.
Thanks to @red_hareimages for a great video clip of my main fretted 5-string bass, “Sakura” that he shot during the last @werenogentlemen recording session. This video shows off the artwork on the custom @alperiouspickguard that Alper designed for my bass. 🤘😎
Can’t wait to share this with everybody — @werenogentlemen just got the final, mastered version of our new cover song we just finished recording over the holidays for a record label that’s putting together a compilation album. We’ll share all the details with you as soon as we can!
Observe the melonhead in its natural environment. What are the chances it is making bass-face underneath the mask?

Just goofing around at the recording studio while @danschizmusic was laying down some extra guitar tracks for our new song. There’s a lot of ‘hurry up and wait’ in the recording process (and in the entertainment industry in general). It’s great to be able to pass the time with people you genuinely enjoying hanging out with. I loves my whole band-fam tribe.
Whenever given the chance, I love recording ‘live’, with everyone in the band playing together instead of tracking each instrument separately. Just like at a live show, there’s an extra special magic that gets captured when we can make eye contact and respond to each other’s energy. @werenogentlemen recently took the opportunity to record our next single using this method. It was a blast and we all loved the experience.

Just spent some time at one of my favorite recording studios in the OC last night getting ready to record a new cover song with my @werenogentlemen band-fam 🤘😎
I just got to listen to the finished track I played on at a recent recording studio session. The song came out great, and I can’t wait to share it with y’all once the artist announces the release. I’m so grateful to have these opportunities and experiences: recording in fantastic studios, and contributing & collaborating with such talented artists, musicians, producers and engineers. I’m stoked that I have more recording sessions coming up very soon with my various bands and projects.
Looking forward to some upcoming studio sessions in the next few weeks. As much as I crave performing live, being in the recording studio definitely qualifies as being in my ‘happy place’ too. I love the challenges of the creative process, the collaboration with the other artists and production team, and the satisfaction of being able to say, “We made this!” when listening to the final produced song. 🤘😎
